Rule 3 is a scoring rule that forms the basis for catching.

Summary

One person, noted as the "Catcher", must hold his fingers out straight and get the Garniop around his hand. Then, all board A points are added on to board B.

Official Rule

One person shall, before each round, be chosen as a "Catcher". He/she may not participate in throwing, catching, or picking up the Garniop. If he/she holds his/her fingers out straight and gets the Garniop to "ring" around his/her wrist, all points from board A will be added on to board B, signifying the end of the round. However, if he does not catch it around his wrist when he touches it, a penalty could be assessed.
